2013…finished works…almost done…

A short post to present one of the latest finished works of 2013, one left to do…so I guess soon I shall start the 2014 catalog, none finished yet, but many are so close to be, so another pastel of an unknown model in a rocking chair, yes can’t really say it is a rocking chair, we don’t see much of the chair, just a feeling it is, so the pastel, the model’s photo and the making of video…

Un court article afin de présenter l’avant-dernière de l’année 2013, sera bientôt temps de commencer le catalogue de 2014, quelques-unes sont bien près d’être finalisées, cela ne devrait pas être bien long, en attendant, un pastel, un modèle, illustre inconnue, qui est assisse dans une berceuse, enfin pas sûr  puisqu’on ne voit que le bras de la chaise…la photo du modèle et du pastel.

A bit of pastel, and portrait, of this young woman who seems to me quite comfortable in this rocking chair, and I feel that pastel is a perfect medium to convey this impression of softness.

Un peu de pastel, un peu de portrait, de cette jeune femme confortablement assisse dans une berçeuse; le pastel convient particulièrement bien à la douceur qu’évoque cette photo.

Not much missing…I think..

Not quite sure, but seems to me that very little, if nothing, is missing on this pastel, sometimes things just go along, everything fall in place, maybe it is time to sign it, but of course for the moment, I will let it rest and pass to another one, in fact I’ve already reworked this painting, yesterday and tonight…some clues, it is a painting of a woman…eyes and gloves, there two clues..but the photos will come later, tomorrow or over the week-end…

Pas sûr, mais je crois qu’il manque bien peu de chose, à ce portrait, à ce point tout semble avoir été comme sur des roulettes, donc je vais le laisser de côté, le temps de penser à le signer ou non, et passer au tableau suivant, en fait je l’AI déjà retravaillé…des gants et des yeux…deux indices…:), mais les photos demain ou en fin-de-semaine…

Presque 3 articles en 3 jours, il est tout juste passé minuit, manqué l’heure de tombée..pas grave
Almost 3 posts in 3 days, almost because it is midnight, missed the day deadline…nothing to worry about I guess…

En fait, voici les autres photos prises hier soir, au début je les prends aux 15 minutes, le début est toujours rapide, c’est après que je m’attarde….:), la version d’hier soir en photo, d’autres sont prêtes mais demain…et un diaporama des premières versions…

A finished pastel…call for a new one….

Did not know if this pastel, of Hambourg port, was finished, a friend who visit my place, was fond of it, and wanted it, so it is finished…so I though that maybe I should do another pastel, no not a landscape, later…, so a portrait of a model, yes she is good looking…:), maybe she’s wearing boots, but the photo doesn’t tell the story, so maybe yes, maybe no..may as well show her picture and also the photo of this finished pastel…

Je ne savais trop si le pastel du port d’Hambourg était terrniné ou non…comme il plaisait à un ami, et qu’il le veut, eh bien il est terminé…..donc quelle belle occasion d’en commencer un autre, un paysage, peut-être plus tard, donc un portrait , oui bien sûr elle est jolie, mais ne porte pas de bottes, enfin elle en porte peut-être, mais la photo ne le dit pas….une image vaut mille mots qu’on dit, voilà la photo du modèle et du pastel fini….du port d’Hambourg.
