Le vieux et le nouveau…. Old and new….

Depuis maintenant près de 2 ans, à cette date là, soit le 10 novembre 2018, je prenais à chaque passage en autobus sur le vieux pont Champlain, des photos du vieux et du petit nouveau en construction, c’était la dernière journée où j’ai traversé le fleuve pour aller travailler là, j’ai continué à travailler pour eux, mais de chez moi..et non je n’ai pas jugé bon d’aller prendre le bus pour suivre les travaux…donc je ne l’ai jamais photographié le petit nouveau…un jour peut-être j’irai prendre quelques clichés…

For almost 2 years, from that date at the time of this picture, November 10 th 2018, I took many pics of this new Champlain bridge under construction, taken from the bus crossing the river in a bus, but then I did start working from home, I was and I am still freelancing, as a technical drafter, so no I did not photograph the finished bridge, apparently it is a nice one, so this was one of my last pic, the New One under construction, well advanced and in a year from that time would push away the Old one, yes the New are always somehow replacing the Olds…

Donc que faire pour passer le temps, faire des photos bizarres, attention déviation..

So what else to do, not feeling like reading, and it is rocking a little bit, so make a few ‘bizarre’ photos, beware deviation coming, brace yourself…

Une au hasard…pick one…

J’ai tellement de photos qui ‘dorment’ dans mon ordi, entre autre plusieurs du nouveau pont Champlain, ou Samuel-de-Champlain, on ne sait pas encore s’il portera le prénom et le nom, bof encore près de six mois avant qu’il ne soit terminé, on a le temps d’en débattre encore un peu, dire qu’un peu plus il se serait nommé Maurice-Richard, mais le père de la Nouvelle-France a finalement gagné sur la religion qu’est le hockey à Montréal…:)

Évidemment cette photo date….voilà plus d’un an, faudrait que je reprenne le bus d’où j’ai pris cette photo et quelques centaines d’autres avant qu’il ne soit terminé.

I have so many pictures laying dormant in the computer, like this one of the future Champlain Bridge, taken last year from a bus. I should get back to this bus to take a few more, to add to the hundreds I have taken, it is supposed to be finished by the end of the year, so I guess I should plan a few trips to add to the story of the new Champlain Bridge, or Samuel-de-Champlain, it is not decided yet how it will be  named, before it was started it could have been named Maurice-Richard, but Champlain kept his right over the hockey player, hockey is very important here…but they felt that Samuel de Champlain and history had the upper edge, I am surprised it did stayed….:)
