Le même modèle présenté voilà quelques jours dans un rendu de logiciel 3D, mais incorporé dans un tableau, déjà commencé depuis quelques mois d’ailleurs ce tableau, cette version date du début octobre…
The same model I’ve shown a few days ago from a rendering done in a 3D software, but this time in a painting, not the same pose, and the paintings is a few months old and not finished yet, so here’s the latest version, from early October…

Tonight a bit of everything, a bit of painting, the Comtess is coming back, but not in this post, later for her….actually today I am showing some work and experimentation with my 3d softwares, playing with posing and lighting, and some textures, the pictures are still with the same model that I’m using in one of my in progress painting, but I’ve also ‘play’ with photoshop on these two renderings, kind of interesting effect, I will experiment a bit more on that I think…and sometimes I will show other models….:)
Un peu de tout ce soir, de la peinture, la comtesse Monique, qui fera l’objet d’un autre article…éventuellement, et aussi depuis quelques jours je me suis remis à ‘bisouner’ avec mes logiciels 3D….et photoshop, pour le moment ce sont encore des photos de Miki, il y en aura d’autres modèles aussi éventuellement, donc ce soir j’ai expérimenté avec différents éclairages, et aussi je me suis amusé à faire un montage en photoshop de deux rendus, intéressant comme ‘jouet’…:)

Oui je sais, j’aurais dû prendre le temps de ‘fixer’ les problèmes avec son maillot, je sais comment le faire, tout simplement pas pris le temps…:)

A follow-up on this painting, of a model coming from some animation software, her name is Miki, I did experiment a bit with others, but the lack of time make that so far this is the only one I used for a painting…eventually I will try the others..
La suite du tableau, laissé de côté depuis un certain temps, le modèle est un modèle de synthèse 3D, tiré d’un logiciel d’animation, elle se nomme Miki, j’ai expérimenté avec d’autres, mais le manque de temps fait que pour le moment, elle est la seule en tableau…
Aussi bien mettre la photo, comme pour un ‘vrai modèle’..:) et le diaporama, ce tableau a connu beaucoup de ‘zig zag’…May as well put the pic of her, like I do for ‘real models’…:), and the slideshow, you will notice the many changes of direction that this painting went through so far…
So tonight wasn’t a quiet and smooth session painting wise, at one point, like it often happen to me, I told myself, not to loudly, it is silly talking to himself, where are you going with this one, seems to me this painting is missing something or more , so like I do often when faced to this situation, I tend to replicate part of the model somewhere else in the painting, so a boot, and another appeared, probably I realised that I did not have them showing pretty well in this painting, so they kind of appeared out of the blue in the side of the painting, but maybe I should just put the picture, instead of trying to describe what I have painted, after all I am no writer, or poete or anything much more than a painter, a painter who love to paint models wearing boots, maybe almost obsessed with it sometimes, and this one model is even more virtual than the others, she came out of a 3d simulation software, I should experiment a bit more with this software. create more images to use as models to paint, more models wearing their nice boots, so as you can see I am able to get lost both while writing or painting…so back to the pic….
Bon ce soir, soudainement, comme cela arrive souvent, pas une soirée calme côté peinture, et tout d’un coup je me disais, bon je m’en vais où avec cette toile, il me semble qu’il manque un petit quelque chose, ou deux….alors comme je le fais aussi assez souvent, je me mets à dessiner ailleurs dans le tableau, une partie du modèle, et comme je trouvais que je ne voyais définitivement trop peu ses bottes, pourquoi ne pas les dessiner là, sur le côté, enfin vaut mieux que je vous montre la photo plutôt que d’essayer de me perdre en mot pour décrire ce que j’ai peint, après tout je ne suis pas écrivain, poète ou romancier, tout simplement un peintre, un peu amoureux, obsessivement peut-être, de modèles, même si celle-ci est encore plus virtuelle que les autres, elle est sortie d’un logiciel 3D, d’ailleurs faudrait que j’expérimente un peu plus, et me faire d’autres modèles, donc de modèles qui portent des bottes, vous voyez, autant en écrivant qu’en peignant je me perds…:), donc la voilà cette photo….

Back to acrylic painting tonight, with this painting that goes I’m not sure where…tonight I am working on a slow pace, I still feel the same with acrylic, things I do like a lot about them, and things that I feel I do not master well, so it is always a bit of an adventure, but somehow I feel my style is different when I’m using acrylic instead of oil, but I would need more paintings, eitheir pure acrylic or pure oils, in the last few years, most of the time they end up being ‘hybrids’, started as an acrylic finished in oils, some times I even started in oil, went to acrylic, not a good idea, unless you want to sand your painting, so oil will stick to it, but definitely something I would not recommend, and it is not supposed to be done…sometimes we do try all kind of things, even stupid things….
So tonight’s version of this painting, in french monday, a bit of a lag in my posting, updating my drafts before publishing…I was telling I was close to the end, then, I really thought so….yes, you guess it, there will be another post and maybe more before it is finished…:), yes I do keep a certain delay in presenting posts, this way I do have a few ready in advance for days where time is too short, or lacking….a bit like some national TV networks keep a few seconds, so they can react if some mishaps occur, like a fifth olympic ring that doesn’t show…:)
Travaillé encore un peu sur cette toile qui va, enfin cela dépend des jours, par contre, aujourd’hui une séance plus ‘en douceur’ et comme à chaque fois où je me remets à l’acrylique, je redécouvre ce médium, que j’ai toujours un peu l’impression d’avoir une maîtrise qui varie elle aussi de jour en jour…:), par contre lorsque je travaille avec ce médium, j’ai l’impression que je travaille un peu différemment, faudrait que j’aie plus de tableaux seulement à l’acrylique, et seulement à l’huile, il me semble que depuis quelques années, la plupart de mes tableaux sont des ‘hybrides’…commencé à l’acrylique, terminé à l’huile, déjà même fait le contraire…pas une bonne idée, j’en étais rendu à sabler légèrement le tableau pour le rendre plus apte à accepter l’huile…parfois on essaie vraiment n’importe quoi…:)
Donc la version de ce soir, qui pourrait très bien être terminé, sais pas pourquoi, à l’acrylique, j’ai souvent l’impression que je pourrais arrêter mon tableau à peu près à n’importe quel moment et que ce serait très bien, je n’ai pas cette impression à l’huile, probablement question de perception bien personnelle…quelques jours plus tard….non ce ne sera pas la dernière version, on change d’idée parfois, surtout quelques jours plus tard et en fait elle a déjà changé…mais comme certaines chaînes nationales de télévision où l’on garde un délai de quelques secondes pour se donner le temps de camoufler les mésaventures…comme un cinquième anneau olympique qui n’est pas là…moi je me donne des jours et surtout quelques articles préparés à l’avance pour pouvoir publier régulièrement…:)
