For the last few weeks I have been trying to put the final touch on the two Cindys paintings, it is almost done, ready to be sign, but I am still trying to convince myself that this elusive final touch is there, no more needed, it will be soon, today? I was hoping for last night, to say it was finished in 2014…it will be a day or two later, and I will wait to post the whole thing instead of giving bit by bit; in the meantime, a few pics taken in 1982 in Flin Flon Manitoba, and also Saskatchewan, part of the town is in that province. Two industrial photos of those large smelting refinery installation with the high stack, some Photoshop manipulations, I will do more with these software, it is not a new year resolution, it is a sure thing…

Depuis quelques jours, semaines en fait, je peaufine et il est presque terminé le tableau des Cindy, mais au lieu de vous présenter des brides comme je le fais souvent…je vais attendre qu’il soit fini le tableau, il l’est presque depuis hier, en fait j’aurais pu dire depuis des jours…mais cela c’est mon obsesssion de la touche finale, il semble que ce n’est jamais le temps, mais cela s’en vient, alors en attendant deux photos, plutôt de type industrielle, photos prises lors d’un court voyage à Flin Flon, au Manitoba, la ville est aussi en partie en Saskatchewan, ce sont des installations de raffinage de cuivre, un endroit un peu lunaire…mais où on a aménagé un terrain de balle, assez peu invitant à mon avis…donc deux photos, les deux ont été un peu modifiées dans Photoshop…ce n’est pas une résolution mais une certitude, je vais explorer un peu plus ces logiciels cette année…
