Non Pinceau, un chat que j’ai eu le bonheur d’avoir un peu plus de 4 ans, avant qu’il ne quitte, n’était pas le plus grand explorateur, son domaine s’arrêtait aux balcons avant et arrière de l’appartement, ici il semble se demander si cela en vaut bien la peine de s’avanturer si loin…..:)

Pinceau was not such a great explorer, more like that his ‘territory’ was including the apartment and adjacent balconies, not much more…here he seems to be assessing the need to go out to assert his ownership of this balcony, well wait and see….I was lucky to have the big, beautiful cat for a little bit more than 4 years, but he felt sick and he had to go a few years ago

J’ai lu sur un site qui traite essentiellement de chats, qu’aujourd’hui en Angleterre je crois, c’est une journée pour les gens qui ont perdu des chats et qui en gardent le souvenir, je pense souvent aux miens, mais je préfère m’en souvenir en partageant à l’occasion une image et parfois une petite histoire, que mes chats avaient l’art de m’inspirer…:)

I have read on a site specializing about cats, there is some kind of day for remembering departed cats, yes some peoples keep and cherish memories, I am a bit like that but I prefer putting my memories under the form of photographs and memories inspired by my departed cats, they were pretty good at creating context for stories…:)

Pour le moment je ne crois pas que j’en aurai un autre, on oublie que les coûts associés à un animal de compagnie peuvent être assez importants, donc dans mon cas l’argent se fait plus rare à la retraite…donc je ne crois pas en avoir d’autres, vais me contenter des photos…

For the moment I don’t plan having another one, we tend to forget that taking good care of a pet can cost quite a bit of money, and now money is scarce for me, I am retreated and money is a preoccupation, so for now, I am more in the process of cutting than adding expenses, so I guess I will post photos and maybe write about them, my cats and the souvenirs I have of them…:)
