A second painting completed within a week, to me, it is almost a record….:) so that unknown, a bit shy model, hiding her face, just showing her boots and hand, will rejoin the big pile of painting completed in some part of my ‘atelier’…which is becoming crowded with all of those paintings…wil have to get a bigger appartment…still have some room for more though…

So here’s the latest addition to the 2012 collection…

from an unknowned model, so unknowned we don’t even know how she looks….but she seems to like her boots, and me too…:), and on top of that a challenge with hand, still the one part that give me trouble, much more than anything else, except foot, but most of the models I do paint, are wearing boots, so it does not show that I’m bad at drawing feet…

Yes finally this painting is over, finish and of course signed….

and this timel, seems to me it is more finished than abandonned, like when we tell ourselves, oh I will sign it because it is going nowhere or youre afraid it will go bad or you just got to the point you feel you cannot do anything more….of course I don’t think a painting is ever finished, like perfect….

But this is my best work, nothing less than that….at least for this year….not to bold as a statement…isn’t it?…:)

of course it should be temporarely…was planning just working on lights, a bit done, more to do, the cloathes, shadows, textures, and finally did retouch a bit of everything, so right now it is somehow on certain aspect better, but did lost some details, of course it should be back in the next few touches…or hours, or days….

IKEA? well the bacground of the picture of the model was kind of just white…felt I needed some settings for her and her chair…just happened to stumble upon their catalog, so it became the background, should have remember the names of items…broskeborg….Krumbrell…Tulan0spk…:))
