Pas beaucoup à ajouter, parfois je pense à régler l’appareil numérique sur film noir et blanc, oui pas tout-à-fait la même chose que le film sur support argentique, j’aimais le travail en chambre noire, mais je me suis converti bien rapidement à la facilité des réglages de film, pas besoin de changer de rouleau et Photoshop, qui bien qu’il ne procure pas l’ambiance de la chambre noire, compense largement en terme de confort, facilité et de faire des essais…et d’avoir droit à l’erreur sans le gaspillage de matériel coûteux…mais ici rien de compliqué, passé plus de temps à écrire cet article que je voulais de quelques mots tout au plus au début, donc tout simplement une photo noir et blanc, une rue du nord de Montréal, Villeray ou Rosemont, sais plus, pluvieux en gris et blanc..

When I do think about it, not often enough, besides these days I am not shooting much of anything, but this is another story, so once in a while, I remember to put the setting to black and white film, the beauty of the thing, it can be done anytimes, in camera or in Photoshop, true it is not the same as using silver base film, but honestly I cannot see the difference in my photos, and while I do miss the ambiance of a permanent darkroom, temporary ones were much more trouble, I don’t miss the materiel spent trying to add some effects, and it was limited, so I did trade quite easily the comfort of working in front of the computer with Photoshop and trying things, but here, nothing fancy, spent more time writing the post, just a basic black and white shot, on a rainy day somewhere in a northern burrough of Montreal, Villeray or Rosemont, can’t say….
