Islande, en vol virtuel… Iceland…in VR flight

Ce serait trop beau, si je pouvais réellement piloter, sais pas peut-être que je m’en sortirais indemne mais je ne crois pas que j’aurai l’occasion de me le prouver, en attendant des prises de vues écran d’un vol virtuel en Islande..ce serait bien de pouvoir mettre dans un article ce que je vois réellement en réalité virtuelle…hum une certaine contradiction ici, mais je crois que vous savez ce que je veux écrire…en attendant des images bien 2d d’un vol virtuel dans le ciel islandais…

It will be great If only I could really fly like this, maybe I would crash at least I might have an idea of what to do, the problem would be to do it right…and pay for the plane..so may as well keep flying with my vr helmet, much less dangerous and more up to my skills..so Iceland, by air…virtually, would be nice to be able to post it like I see it in my helmet, but images will have to do…

Tiens peut-être que je devrais aller voler, non pas un commerce ou autre, seulement en réalité virtuelle un avion, mais avant je dois livrer un combat bien physique, Maya ma chatte, est couchée sur le siège du pilote….tour de contrôle, je ne peux décoller, la chatte ne veut pas, bof c’est peut-être pour le mieux, je devrais retourner à ma tablette et dessiner….:)

Maybe I should go back flying, virtually of course, been a while…but big problem, Maya is sound asleep on the pilot chair…no just an ordinary office chair, but to me it is my airplane chair, or spacecraft sometimes, or a Spitfire cockpit or a ….seat occupied by a fierce cat…well sleep well Maya, I will fly another time…and keep drawing instead, maybe it is for the best…air controler, please cancel flight plan, the cat does want to move…

Non pas non plus générée par l’intelligence artificielle, quoique si j’utilise Flight Simulator et que du casque VR, j’en tire une image que j’exporte, est que cela pourrait s’en approcher, hum question intéressante, donc en attendant, une image extraite lors d’un vol virtuel, tirée d’un casque Oculus, bien sûr cela ne rend pas, mais aucunement la sensation de voler à l’aide d’un casque de réalité virtuelle, mais je me disais que c’était une porte d’entrée ou de retour à mon site qui normalement sert de véhicule à ma photographie, mais qui accueille de plus en plus des cousins éloignés, si je peux m’exprimer ainsi….en passant mon autre site, qui est plus orienté vers ma peinture, mais lui aussi est maintenant fréquenté par des cousins de la fesse gauche, comme on dit ici au Québec, des images de logiciels de modèles virtuels, des esquisses réalisées avec une tablette graphique, est de retour depuis deux semaines mantenant, donc une petite visite, si cela vous tente, le lien est au bas de l’article.

It is not eitheir an IA image, but is it ? It does come from the inside of my real virtuality helmet, and Flight Simulator 2020, of course it does not render the amazement at flying between glaciers and valleys of Patagonia, but it is probably the closest I will have to opportuny to do it in reality. So not per say one of my photographic images, for what this site is primarly used, but recently more distant cousins did appear here and on my painting site, which has been on a revival streak for two weeks now, also heberging other distants cousins, like software generated model and digital art made from my graphic tablet…the link is at the end of this post.

Grand Canyon, Flight Simulator

Enfin dans la région du Grand Canyon, quelques extraits photo, le vidéo, environ 10 minutes est sur ma chaîne YouTube, évidemment on ne ressent pas l’effet du vol avec un casque de réalité virtuelle, mais cela donne du moins une impression, ne maquerait que de ne pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre et sentir l’air…la fin est brutale…ne pas essayer un ‘atterrissage improvisé’ sur un pic, même en virtuel, quoique bien sûr autre que l’avion virtuel, aucun dommage….:)

Or at least around the Grand Canyon region, in a virtual plane, of course these pics do not give the full impression of flying in VR, and of course have not much to do with flying in a real plane, but preferable to be in VR while trying a stupid landing on a mountain edge, no harm done, except to the virtual plane, me I am just fine…:)

Bien sûr, en tant que ‘photographe’ amateur, je ne peux dire que mon implication est bien grande dans la capture d’écran tirée de logiciel de simulation, ici si ma mémoire est bonne c’est quelque part entre le Nouveau-Brunswick vers Montréal….le ciel est enflammé, de ce temps ci je ‘vole’ peu…trop occupé à peindre, faire du photoshop sur de vieilles photos, expérimenter les effets et bloguer, donc aujourd’hui, presque un congé…:)

Of course, my implication as a serious hobbyist photographer may not be that important when it does come to take screenshot from a flight simulator software, it is from a virtual flight somewhere between New-Brunswick and Montreal, nice sky, the rest is well choice of mine for view but the software does the rest, I do not ‘fly’ much these days, my time is almost all taken by painting, doing photoshop work on old pics, testing effects and of course blogging and maintaining my sites, so today it is almost a break…:)

Vol au dessus non dans un coucou…Fly over a cockcoo’s nest, no…

Ce serait plutôt vol dans un coucou mais virtuel…oui quelques jeux que je possède en fait ce sont plus des simulateurs que des jeux….deux qui sont des simulations de la 2e guerre mondiale, non je ne tiens absolument pas à ce qu’il y en ait un pour la 3e…on a pas besoin de cela…donc retour au jeu…simulation de vol, avec Flight Simulator 2020 qui utilise Google afin de modéliser le paysage et surtout avec un casque VR, c’est assez impressionnant, j’ai quelques photos et vidéos, mais cela sera pour plus tard, aussi faut dire que cela ne rend vraiment pas la sensation de voler en VR…moins cher aussi voler en VR que des cours de pilotage et moins dangereux, sauf pour oublier le temps qui passe….et anciennement avant qu’elle décède d’oublier de nourrir ou flatter la chatte, non elle n’est pas morte de cela, je ne l’oubliais pas loin de là, elle est décédée d’un cancer, oui elle me manque, probablement un article un de ces quatre.

No it is more like Fly in a cockcoo or more precisely in a virtual plane, I do own a few of those games, much more simulation than games, some about flying planes in 2nd world war, the one russians and allies were fighting true nazis…as for simulation for a third one, we can pass on that I hope, or if it is only a vr game, fine, but nothing more please…so back to my VR game, I did a few shots and videos, more on that in posts to come, of course difficult to render the feeling you have flying or piloting a rally car also or a F1, but it does provide nice shots, Flight Simulator 2020 does use the Google Earth engine I think, so you do have quite realistic view, at least to my likings, and it is quite pleasing, but of course VR also have some ‘dangerous’ effects…like spending too much time with a helmet on, and the cat staring at me or used to stared at me, because she felt left away…she doesn’t suffer anymore now, she died, no not because I did forgot to feed or pat her…she died of cancer, another post for this, I still miss her…

Donc pour le moment une seule photo, bien beau cette région du Lésotho je crois, à la recherche de l’aéroport, mon gps me dit qu’il est là….So for now, a lonely pic, of a lonely VR pilot looking for that elusive airport in Lesotho area, it is somewhere down there around mountains, so is telling me the gps…
